About Chia Chi

Founded on April 1st, 1924, Chia Chi used to be a girls' school of home economics. To tackle the challenge of a decliing birth rate, Chia Chi turned co-ed in 2016. Chia Chi offers three programs: senior high, senior vocational, and talented education. 

Chia Chi consists of 30 classes in the senior high program with two experimental classes (Bilingual Experimental Class; Math and Science Experimental Class ) of each grade, 3 classes in the dance program, and 18 classes in the senior vocational program, containing 2 departments:Fashion Design/Styling Design, and Food and Beverage Management. 

With the efforts of all the teachers and students, Chia Chi has attained a high level in students' performances, both in academic performances and in extra-curricular activities. Chia Chi is striding on its way to a promising future.

The total number of the students is 1705. The number of the teaching faculty is 145 with an average age of 45.

Objectives of Education
1. To develop the students' disposition and implement the concept of whole-person education
2. To elevate the teachers' expertise and competence and promote the advancement of teaching quality
3. To establish a fear-free and danger-free learning environment
4. To create a friendly environment of gender equality
5. To make the school a study center of the community in coordination with local development
